About Outfit

Outfit is a geometric variable sans by Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Smich Smanloh, released in 2021 and commissioned specifically as a brand-building typeface. Round geometric bones, squared rather than rounded terminals, and nine weights from thin to black in a single file — the squared finish gives it a sharper, cooler feel than the warmer geometrics it otherwise resembles.

Its brief points it straight at Nexa's territory: logos, landing pages, and display headlines. The proportions run close to Brandon Grotesque's, though the squared terminals trade away some of Brandon's warmth, and at display sizes it hits Google Sans's friendly product-brand tone almost exactly. With the full weight range in one variable file it works as a system font as readily as a headline face — a reasonable default when a product needs geometric branding it can also ship in the interface.
