About Bebas Neue
Bebas Neue is Ryoichi Tsunekawa's all-caps condensed display sans, released in 2010 and long since the internet's favorite face of its kind. Caps only, tall, tightly packed, and lighter in stroke than the classic condensed heavyweights. The uniform cap height turns any headline into a solid rectangular block of type, which is much of the appeal.
Height and tracking do the work that sheer blackness does elsewhere. That tall, tightly tracked poster skeleton is Druk's, delivered at zero cost with less stroke weight behind it, and it stands in for Impact on the same terms — the same condensed all-caps frame, best where Impact's job is a big headline rather than maximum blackness. With no lowercase it is strictly display: a poster line, a title card, a section header, never text. Tracking it out slightly keeps the tight fit from closing up.

- Destroyed Aero → Caps-only condensed sans with even widths and a tall cap height, close to the proportions of Destroyed Aero's letters once the erosion is removed. It is lighter in overall weight and far cleaner, so it suits the same headline jobs with a more polished finish.
- Druk Condensed → An all-caps condensed sans with crisp flat sides and an even stroke that stacks into blocks the way Druk Condensed does on a cover. Several weights are available on Google Fonts, but it lacks lowercase, italics and the heavy XX Super extreme, so it reads cleaner and less aggressive.
- Druk → The internet's favorite all-caps condensed display face. Lighter in stroke than Druk but delivers the same tall, tightly tracked poster look at zero cost.
- Galgo Condensed → The default free condensed sans, caps only, with the same tall, narrow geometric skeleton Galgo Condensed uses. It is a single bold weight rather than a Light to Bold range, and its stroke is heavier, so it matches Galgo's Bold more than its Light.
- Impact → Caps-only and lighter in weight than Impact, but with the same tall, tightly packed condensed skeleton — it became the web era's default poster face for a reason. Best where Impact's role is 'big condensed all-caps headline' rather than maximum blackness.
- Graphique → All-caps only, like Graphique, with a similar narrow footprint and even stroke weight. It is lighter and cleaner than Eidenbenz's shaded capitals, so it reads as a modern title card rather than a mid-century label, but the caps-first headline role is the same.
- Champion Gothic → An all-caps condensed sans with clean, squared-off letterforms that read like a modern wood-type gothic. It lacks Champion Gothic's lowercase and width range, but for uppercase headlines it lands in the same compact register.
