Minion 3

Adobe Originals released Minion 3 in 2018, Robert Slimbach's significantly expanded update to the Minion family he first drew for Adobe in the late 1980s. It keeps the slightly condensed, late-Renaissance-inspired text face that book designers have relied on for decades, and adds a lot around it: the Latin set is nearly doubled to cover African languages, Vietnamese and the full International Phonetic Alphabet, the Greek and Cyrillic are redrawn, and Armenian is new. Four weights across Display, Subhead, Text and Caption optical sizes make 32 styles. These free typefaces work the same old-style book register without the Adobe Fonts subscription.
