About Kumbh Sans
Kumbh Sans is a geometric sans from KAIROS Studios, released in 2020 with wide circular bowls, monolinear strokes, and squared-off joins. It's drawn for screens, so the pure geometry survives at text sizes better than most faces in the genre, and the heavier weights carry real chunk.
Those heavy cuts are what recommend it as a Futura substitute — the display-poster impact Futura built its reputation on, available free. Its wide round bowls and clean strokes also sit close to ITC Avant Garde Gothic's proportions, with a softer contemporary finish. The closest structural match, though, is Nexa: the same circular forms and squared joins, echoed more literally than the famous geometrics manage. That makes it a good route to the Nexa look without falling back on Poppins or Montserrat.
