About Euphoria Script
Euphoria Script, drawn by Sabrina Mariela Lopez and available through Google Fonts, is a calligraphic script with genuine pen rhythm behind it. The strokes swell and taper the way a broad nib actually moves, and the flourishing stays moderate rather than running to the elaborate swashes that leave many free scripts unreadable below poster size. Warm and legible at once, which is a harder combination than it sounds.
That writing-first mindset is what it shares with ITC Zapf Chancery, the chancery italic it most directly stands in for. Euphoria Script reads warmer and more casual than Zapf Chancery — less formal calligraphic exercise, more confident handwriting — so it suits invitations, packaging, and editorial openers where the original's ceremony would land as stiff. Set it large enough for the pen logic to show.

Euphoria Script is also a free alternative to…
- Jenna Sue → A relaxed connected script with a light, airy line that echoes Jenna Sue's thin pen weight and friendly tone. It leans a little more toward brush lettering, with smoother curves and more deliberate flourishes than Jenna Sue's quick, unfussy handwriting.
- Wisdom Script → A casual connected script drawn from lettering practice rather than calligraphy, with rounded bowls and a relaxed rhythm that echoes Wisdom's friendly artisan tone. It is lighter and more upright, so it lacks the dense, punchy colour of Wisdom Script, but the hand-lettered character carries over well on packaging and menus.
- ITC Zapf Chancery → A calligraphic script with genuine pen rhythm and moderate flourish — warmer and more casual than Zapf Chancery, but from the same writing-first mindset.
- Rage Italic → A lively, sloping script with thick-and-thin contrast and joined lowercase that approximates Rage Italic's forward momentum. Its strokes are smooth and slightly more elegant, placing it between the brush casualness of Rage Italic and the formality of Edwardian Script.
