About Yeseva One
Yeseva One is a curvaceous display serif by Jovanny Lemonad, released in 2011 in a single weight built for headline sizes. Big warm bowls, swelling round forms, and soft decorative terminals give it a plush, faintly retro presence. The bowls do the work and the serifs mostly decorate; the contrast runs high enough that it loses coherence well before body-copy sizes.
It covers the heavier display end of Recoleta with the same friendly warmth, and its swelling forms sit adjacent to the flamboyance of Windsor Elongated. For the plush, decorative side of the Mailchimp look that Means supplies, Yeseva One gets there too, though at higher contrast — which is another argument for keeping it to headlines. One weight means it always wants a quieter text face beneath it, but at scale it will carry a cover or a title sequence on its own.
