About Tenor Sans
Tenor Sans is a refined sans by Denis Masharov, released through Google Fonts in 2011, with gently modulated strokes that give its letterforms a quiet, drawn quality rather than a mechanical one. The proportions are wide and unhurried, the weight is light, and the modulation stays subtle enough that the face reads as a sans while carrying some of a serif's rhythm.
Those are fashion-house proportions, and they make it a workable free stand-in for Quiche Sans. The contrast is subtler than Quiche's, so the effect is less pronounced — but the same quiet luxury comes through in headlines, logotypes, and wordmarks set with open letterspacing. It suits editorial covers, beauty and fashion branding, and restaurant or hospitality identities, and works best above text size where the stroke modulation is actually visible.
