About Momo Trust Sans
Momo Trust Sans is a geometric sans serif designed in 2024 by Type Associates, the type design studio within M — N Associates in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of a custom type system for MoMo, the Vietnamese e-wallet. The family takes its cues from the MoMo logotype, keeping the rounded, approachable shapes that define the brand and extending them across a single variable file whose weight axis runs from Extra Light at 200 to Extra Bold at 800. It ships with Latin, Latin Extended and Vietnamese character sets and sits alongside a companion headline face, Momo Trust Display, and a handwritten Momo Signature.
It was built for app interfaces, payment screens and marketing where a brand needs to feel trustworthy but warm, and that is where it works best: UI labels, onboarding copy, buttons and mid-size headings. Added to Google Fonts in September 2025 under the Open Font License, it is a free stand-in for the soft, rounded corporate sans serifs that fintech and consumer brands usually license from commercial foundries.
