Julius Sans One
A free alternative to Copperplate Gothic.
About Julius Sans One
Julius Sans One is a caps-only display sans, wide and thin, with subtle glyphic flaring at the terminals that hints at engraving without committing to serifs. One style ships and there is no lowercase at all, which settles its role: titling type at a single hairline weight, dependent on generous letterspacing and plenty of surrounding air to work at all.
Those flared terminals and wide caps capture Copperplate Gothic's stationery elegance, landing closest to Copperplate's lightest weights where the engraved feeling is most delicate. It also stands in for Quiche Sans's thin weights, carrying enough stroke modulation to read as drawn rather than mechanical. Logos, packaging caps, invitation headers, and section titles are its territory; with a single style available, it cannot build hierarchy without help from a second family.

- Copperplate Gothic → Caps-only, wide, and thin, with subtle glyphic flaring at the terminals that hints at engraving without full serifs. It captures Copperplate's stationery elegance in its lightest weights, though it offers only one style.
- Quiche Sans → An all-caps hairline display sans with subtle stroke modulation — a good stand-in for Quiche Sans's thin weights in logos and packaging caps.
