About Chakra Petch
Chakra Petch is a squared technical sans from Cadson Demak, released in 2018 with a full range of weights plus italics — unusual for a face this overtly engineered. Its corners are chamfered rather than rounded and its curves flatten toward straight sides, so the texture reads unmistakably machined at any size, engineered rather than merely styled that way.
The weights and italics are what make it the most usable free Eurostile stand-in: it can carry a whole interface or identity, not just a single display line, which is where most Eurostile substitutes stop. It pushes the squared look further than Porsche Next itself does, so treat that pairing as an intensification rather than a match. Best deployed in headlines, UI accents, and technical labeling where the engineered register is the point rather than a side effect.
