About Homemade Apple
Homemade Apple is a handwriting script published by Font Diner. Its copyright dates to 2010, and it was added to Google Fonts in January 2011. It comes in one regular style and covers the Latin character set. The letters are drawn as a quick, slanted pen hand. Strokes join where the writing flows naturally, rise and fall a little along the line, and leave the small wobbles of real ink in place, so a line of text reads like a note instead of a typeset script.
It works best at display sizes: recipe cards, packaging, invitations, café menus, signatures, pull quotes and anywhere a design needs a personal handwritten touch. It fits short phrases better than paragraphs. It can stand in for commercial handwriting scripts such as P22 Cézanne Pro, which is based on Paul Cézanne's handwriting, when a project needs that informal, written-by-hand warmth without paying for a license.
