Asap

Asap is a humanist sans from Omnibus-Type, released in 2012 with subtly rounded corners and slightly condensed proportions. The rounding is quiet — visible at display sizes, felt rather than seen in text — and the narrow fit saves space while keeping the counters open on screen. The humanist skeleton keeps letterforms distinct where a stricter geometric would blur them.

Those soft corners are the closest free echo of Amazon Ember's terminals, giving headings and buttons the same approachable tone. The condensed proportions put it in FF Meta's space-saving territory as well, with Meta's warmth turned up a notch for screens. Reach for Asap when an interface needs a sans that is friendly without being informal, and narrow enough to survive dense navigation, tight buttons, and small components. It holds up in body copy too, which not every rounded sans manages.
